myLink™ App Overview & Basic Navigation

This post provides an overview of the myLink app navigation so you can easily understand how to use features such as remote operation, scenes, schedules, and the menu.


To control any Somfy-powered application, access the remote screen via the menu or the toggle button. This feature is always available whether you’re home or away.

Select the appropriate myLink. Choose the product you wish to control and the associated command, such as up, down, "my" or stop. Your motorized applications will activate accordingly.

Scenes allow you to easily operate multiple Somfy-powered Radio Technology Somfy (RTS) products together. To activate a scene, simply navigate to the scenes screen and select your desired scene.

To edit a scene, simply select the pencil icon and choose the scene you want to edit. Then simply add or remove associated products and/or change commands. To delete a scene, swipe to the left and press delete.


The clock icon indicates that this scene is also part of a schedule. The schedule feature allows you to create timed events with your motorized applications.

To see or edit your schedules, press the clock from the scene screen or access via the main menu. You’ll see your schedules and the time and day of operation. In our example, the "Morning Open" schedule will activate at 6:30 am, each day of the week.

To edit a schedule, simply select the pencil icon and then the schedule. Edit as needed. For example, we will change the time from 6:30 to 7:15 and the days from every day to Friday through Sundays.

Let’s take a tour of the myLink settings.

Click on the Info Screen to check the hardware information such as ID, Base Address Firmware Version, Network, check the WiFi Signal Strength, get the IP Address or Device Logs.

The Edit Screen allows you to add or delete Somfy-powered RTS products to your myLink (you can add up to 16 channels per myLink, 5 for the legacy myLink), update your network information or change the names and icons of your myLink-controlled products.

Using short and simple names is recommended for easy voice control.

To share your myLink with other family members, go to the Mobile PIN Screen. They will simply need to download the app, join the existing system and enter your PIN number.

You can also change your mobile PIN number if necessary.

Scalability is another myLink feature that allows you to build your home automation system gradually. Go to the Add Screen to add more myLink devices when you screen in your porch with Somfy-powered screens or add a motorized awning.

Go to Update to see your current firmware and to get the latest updates.

Choose your preferred language from the Language Screen.
