Welcome to the Somfy how-to video series. Today I’m going to show you how to adjust your lower position and to set your "my" button to close the vanes on your sheer horizontal blind.

Remember if this blind is operated as part of a group, unplug the other blinds in the group before beginning.

To start, get the remote that operates the blind. Press down and release. Allow the blind to reach its preset lower position. Once the blind stops, press and hold up and down simultaneously until the blind jogs, which is a brief up and down movement of the shade.

To prevent damage to the blind, it will only move in this adjustment mode while up or down is being pressed.

Adjust your lower position by pressing and holding up or down until the blind is fully lowered and the vanes are positioned horizontally. Once we’ve reached this position press and hold “my” until the blind jogs. The lower position is now reset.

If the shade cannot reach your desired lowered position, contact your window covering retailer.

Now with the same remote, we’ll set "my" to close the vanes. Press and hold up. The vanes will close slowly, release the button when the vanes are fully closed.

Press and hold "my" until the blind jogs. Your “my” position is now set to close the vanes. Pushing "my" while your blind is at rest will close the vanes, pushing "my" while the blind is in motion will simply stop the blind.
